Physics Teacher (Science) (August 2026 start)

The Role
This exciting role is ideal for an educator with proven experience teaching Key Stage 3 Science and iGCSE and A-Level Physics, who can bring complex physical concepts to life through engaging, inquiry-based learning. You will deliver dynamic lessons that nurture analytical thinking, deepen students’ understanding of the physical world, and encourage them to explore everything from fundamental forces and motion to electricity, waves, and the structure of the universe.
You will:
• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning aligned with the English National Curriculum.
• Inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential—academically and personally.
• Plan creative and challenging lessons that stretch every learner.
• Use assessment and feedback effectively to ensure continual progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the department’s curriculum.
• Contribute to the school’s vibrant co-curricular and enrichment programme.
• Embody the values and vision of Queen’s and Artemis Education in everything you do.
The Ideal Candidate
• A qualified teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and PGCE/QTS (or equivalent).
• Has at least 5 years' experience teaching the English National Curriculum in the Secondary phase.
• An educator with a proven record of successful teaching Key Stage 3, iGCSE and A-Level, ideally within international or British curriculum schools.
• Skilled at creating inclusive, engaging learning environments that challenge and support every student.
• Confident in integrating technology to enhance learning experiences.
• A collaborative professional who thrives in a diverse, forward-thinking team.
• Enthusiastic, creative, and committed to continuous improvement and innovation
