Unilever Prestige is seeking a Portfolio Growth Analyst to join the Central E-Commerce team and support the continued growth of our prestige beauty portfolio across direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels. This role sits at the intersection of data, customer behavior, and growth strategy, helping identify patterns across brands and translating insights into actionable recommendations that improve customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value. Reporting into the Sr. Director of E-Commerce, the Portfolio Growth Analyst will work across brands, providing portfolio-level insights that inform strategic decisions and help brand teams scale their e-commerce businesses. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, highly analytical, and energized by identifying patterns in complex data sets. They don’t just report what happened, they investigate why it happened and what should be done next. 

 

Key Responsibilities


Portfolio Performance Analysis

  • Analyze e-commerce performance across brand DTC sites, including traffic, conversion rate, AOV, customer acquisition, and retention metrics 
  • Identify cross-brand patterns and trends impacting portfolio growth 
  • Diagnose performance shifts and investigate root causes of growth opportunities or challenges 

Customer Acquisition & Retention Insights

  • Monitor trends in new customer acquisition, repeat purchase behavior, and loyalty performance across brands 
  • Conduct customer cohort and lifetime value analysis to understand retention dynamics 
  • Identify signals of customer behavior shifts that may impact long-term growth. 

Growth Opportunity Identification

  • Surface opportunities to improve conversion, acquisition efficiency, and repeat purchase rates across brand sites 
  • Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations for brand teams 
  • Identify leading indicators of growth or risk across the portfolio. 

Reporting & Insight Development

  • Develop portfolio dashboards and reporting frameworks that track key e-commerce KPIs across brands Translate complex analysis into clear narratives and insights for leadership Support monthly business reviews and strategic discussions with data-driven insights 

Experimentation & Optimization 

  • Support testing initiatives aimed at improving site conversion, customer acquisition, and retention 
  • Evaluate performance of marketing initiatives and on-site optimization efforts 
  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer journey across DTC touchpoints 

 

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field 
  • 2–5 years of experience in e-commerce analytics, digital growth, or performance marketing analysis 
  • Strong analytical skills with experience identifying patterns and translating data into strategic insights 
  • Experience with Google Analytics (GA4) and Shopify 
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, or similar) 
  • Experience analyzing customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value metrics 
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly

Annual Base Compensation range: $110,000 - $125,000 (commensurate with experience)
