We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Condition Surveyor – Damp & Decay Specialist or has the willingness to become one, to join our team at the Lincoln branch, Experience is preferred but not essential for the right applicant, you will be covering the East coast of the Midlands area such as  Thetford, Bury St. Edmonds, Norwich and surrounding areas. Building Condition Surveyor – Damp & Decay Specialist Role

In this field-based role, you'll utilise your expertise to survey properties, diagnose complex preservation issues, and provide tailored solutions to our customers. Your deep understanding of construction and building environments will be crucial in delivering accurate and effective recommendations. Daily travel is required, and you should be comfortable being on the move and working alone the majority of the time once trained.

Providing exceptional customer service is paramount, and your ability to build strong relationships and communicate technical information clearly will ensure customer satisfaction.

Building Condition Surveyor – Damp & Decay Specialist Requirements:

  • CSSW (Certified Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing), CSTDB (Certified Surveyor in Timber and Dampness), or relevant construction/built environment qualifications and experience are preferred but not essential.
  • Proven track record in property preservation sales or surveying.
  • Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
  • Strong understanding of building pathology and preservation techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven.
  • You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for.
