Job Description:

  1. Processing major planning applications efficiently, producing detailed reports and recommendations to achieve desired outcomes.
  2. Engaging in pre-application discussions for major proposals, including those under Planning Performance Agreements, and providing solutions to potential issues.
  3. Preparing and presenting evidence for appeals for external clients.
  4. Contributing to service improvements to enhance cost efficiency and effectiveness, while managing projects to meet/exceed client KPIs in timeliness and quality.
  5. Supporting the enhancement of business management systems, procedures, and processes.
  6. Providing guidance and support to peers and junior staff to promote knowledge sharing and understanding of current planning issues and legislation.
  7. Participating in business development activities, securing repeat work, and applying a commercial perspective to all tasks and behaviors.
