More about our mission and what we offer.

Job Description

We are seeking a strategic, execution-oriented Product Marketing Lead to shape our market positioning, drive public product narratives, and lead our external content strategy for Wise Platform.

You will bridge the gap between what we build and how the market perceives it. You will define our messaging architecture, go-to-market (GTM) frameworks, and top-level content strategy from the ground up, working alongside a dedicated Content Marketing Manager to support campaign execution.

(Note: Internal sales enablement, sales training, rep battlecards, and pitch decks are managed by a dedicated internal team. Your focus is 100% external-facing market impact, customer acquisition, category positioning, and pipeline generation.)

Your mission:

  • Work with our Sales Enablement team to define and refine our value propositions, Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), and buyer personas across the Wise Platform product suite.
  • Convert complex cross-border payment developments and internal technical frameworks into commercial, solution-led messaging and actionable guides.
  • Establish a scalable product marketing engine and multi-channel launch playbook to systematically roll out new platform features, category announcements, and modules.
  • Develop quarterly full-funnel content strategies, author flagship anchor assets (e.g., benchmark reports and product vision whitepapers), and provide editorial leadership for the Content Marketing Manager.
  • Craft campaign messaging briefs for paid media, email nurture streams, and field events, while managing public customer proof points and analyst relations.

This role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Build our external product marketing engine from the ground up with direct, high-visibility impact.
  • Start in a hands-on strategic hybrid role with the opportunity to grow a team of specialists as Wise Platform expands.
  • Shape how banks, fintechs, and global enterprises adopt embedded cross-border payments across international markets.
  • Partner closely with Product Management, Sales, Demand Generation, PR, and internal Sales Enablement teams.
  • Work directly with our regional teams in London, Austin, and Singapore, and connect with prospective enterprise partners globally.

Qualifications

A bit about you:

  • 8-10+ years of experience in product marketing, content marketing, or a hybrid GTM role within B2B SaaS, with deep domain experience in Fintech or payments.
  • Background in a fast-paced startup, scale-up, or early-stage environment (Series A to Series C) building GTM frameworks and positioning from zero.
  • Proven ability to construct messaging architectures, value propositions, and ICP definitions from scratch for complex B2B/enterprise buyers.
  • Expert at connecting top-of-funnel thought leadership directly to bottom-of-funnel evaluation assets that drive buyer interest and pipeline.
  • Proficiency in navigating CRM tools
  • Ability to operate at a high strategic level while staying hands-on with tactical execution in a lean environment.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills across product management, commercial teams, and senior regional/global leadership.

Nice to have:

  • Direct experience in cross-border payments (FX, transaction banking, embedded finance).
  • Prior experience marketing software solutions directly to banks or financial institutions.
  • Experience managing analyst relations and category briefings.

Additional Information

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary and stock options package.
  • Flexible working policies and "Me Days" / "Mission Days".
  • Sabbatical leave after 4 years of service.
  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits.

For everyone, everywhere. We're people building money without borders — without judgement or prejudice, too. We believe teams are strongest when they are diverse, equitable and inclusive.

We're proud to have a truly international team, and we celebrate our differences.
