  • In your position as a promoter, you will achieve your goals by promoting SICAM SDA product portfolio for both customers & Siemen’s regional sales globally. 2 Position in Organisation
  • Reports to the Head of PLM Secondary Distribution Automation. 3 Job Scope/Requirements
  • You empower and motivate the sales force to build and grow additional business through your professional support. You have professional marketing at your disposal to transport your content to customers.
  • Proactively plan, arrange, and execute a range of technical promotion activities for SICAM SDA products. Promotion activities include sales roadshows, product launches, customer training courses, product approvals/ prescription and Distribution Automation application advice.
  • Passionate and prepared to manage issues related to technological innovation for SICAM SDA Portfolio (Short Circuit Indicators, SICAM 8 Power Automation Remote Terminal Units focusing on Secondary Distribution Automation System as a Product offerings) including Digitalization solutions for the Product line.
  • Technically convince customers to use SICAM SDA products and have a focussed prescription strategy in co-operation with Regional / Business Unit Sales teams.
  • Work closely with the Siemens Product Lifecycle Managers & Sales Managers to ensure a consistent market approach. As a key stakeholder of the new product introduction team, preparation of sales information (benchmarking slide sets, product sheet, catalogues) and drive Product Introduction globally will be the key focus of this position.
  • In addition, you identify and build multipliers in different regions and actively support your colleagues in growing the business area.
  • You will be a role model for the regional managers to influence and grow the sales organization in relation to distribution grid operators, industry, and infrastructure.
  • Available to go on business trips (30-40%) in key focus regions viz. South Asia, Southeast Asia and Middle East (partly)
  • Experience of communications networks (IEC61850, IEC60870—5, Modbus, DNP3.0) and their application within the distribution / substation / automation an advantage.
  • Experience of Product Sales & Product Development an advantage. Must abide by all business compliance requirements in line with Company policies, for example Business Conduct Guidelines & Confidential Information. 4 Dimensions & Limits of Authority
  • Able to communicate directly with customers and Siemens regions to resolve technical issues and advise on product application. 5 Qualifications
  • Bachelors / Master’s degree in electrical engineering or a comparable education. 6 Skills
  • You have a strong sales affinity together with high competence in the technical environment.
  • You have a good understanding of the operation of medium and low voltage networks and the equipment of local substations and switchgear.
  • You are motivated and creative to find optimal solutions for our customers in a high-level technical environment. High level of Feeder & distribution application knowledge. Typical experience: 10 years and above.
  • For this purpose, you have strong communication and outstanding presentation skills (verbal as well as written) in English and convince customers and colleagues of your solutions.
  • Ability to technically promote & prescribe a product in Distribution Utilities and DSO’s.
  • Good standard of IT literacy. Use tools, reports / dashboards to share activities with the management.
  • Good written / oral communication and interpersonal skills
