Monday to Friday 7:30am till 5:00pm

Skills Needed

  • Previous experience operating production machinery is preferred but not essential.
  • Must have proven experience within a factory environment.
  • Previous Manual handling experience essential as job involves heavy lifting.
  • To be Health and Safety conscious.
  • Must have good hand-eye coordination
  • Given the nature of material a good level of strength, and stamina is needed
  • Good numeracy skills and understanding of measurements

Responsibilities of Production Operator

  • Ensuring that the production is cost effective, on time, of quality and are to the highest of industry standards.
  • To ensure an effective use of materials from cutting lists.
  • Keeping the stock inventory system up to date.
  • Meet and exceed weekly production targets.
  • Adhering to safe practices is a must for the health and well-being of the production operator as well as those they work with.
  • Working with raw materials requires strong physical capabilities.

Salary

  • Starting Salary of £26,520 PLUS OVERTIME

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £26,520.00 per year
