Project Asst/Analyst (Also open to entry level in Business Analytics)

Our client is a reputable Energy/Shipping MNC. In view of expansion, they are currently seeking a suitably qualified candidate to join them as "Project Assistant/Executive or Analyst".

In this role, your overall responsibilities will include :

  • Provide administrative, data, and functional support throughout system implementation lifecycle.
  • Assist the Project Lead in tracking timelines, project execution, coordination, resolving basic system support issues and maintaining accurate master data documentation.
  • Assist in gathering and documenting user requirements and system specifications.
  • Support the Project Lead in preparing test scenarios, test cases, and system documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings, reserve meeting rooms, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Assist in master data maintenance, report generation, and dashboard updates.
  • Provide administrative support for project-related tasks.
  • Track progress of project deliverables and update project schedules timely.
  • Liaise with end users and vendors on assigned tasks.
  • Support end users by providing first level support.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and escalate technical issues to third party vendor support as required.
  • Assist in the development and update of SOPs and user guides.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Business Analytics or its equivalent
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity in data analysis tools such as Power Automate, Power Query, SQL and Python will be advantageous
  • Have a quality mindset with acute attention-to-detail skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team, manage multiple tasks, and perform effectively under tight deadlines
  • Self-starter with a keen sense of urgency and an open mind to learn
