I am currently working with a software company that is looking for a Manual QA Tester to join the team as a sole tester. The ideal tester would have experience with web-based application testing and mobile iOS and Android testing.

This is a fully remote role, and culture is paramount for them. They are looking for somebody who will throw themselves into work and wants to work within a collaborative team. As the sole tester, they need somebody who is confident in speaking and communicating issues to the wider team.

The role will focus on functional testing, making sure the products are intuitive, reliable and delightful to use.

Required skills:

  • Manuel testing experience
  • Experience over the whole SDLC
  • Experiencein preparing and executing test cases, scripts and plans
  • Understanding of user experience testing

Desirable skills:

  • HTML, JavaScript and CSS
  • Linear/JIRA
