An opportunity exists for a Relationship Manager to join our Healthcare Direct Relationship Management team.  You will have a national portfolio of approximately 140 Healthcare clients across a range of healthcare sectors where turnover is circa £3m or less.  As we are a Direct channel, our client meetings are conducted via Microsoft Teams, therefore it is not a requirement to travel to see clients, but opportunities may arise for attendance at professional meetings or events.

What will you be doing?

You will be responsible for supporting clients with all their banking needs including lending, deposits and a wide range of other services. There is an expectation to see growth in the portfolio through becoming the go to banking professional for your clients.


Typically, you would be involved with the following:

  • Providing excellent service to our clients, putting them at the heart of what you do, adding value at every interaction and becoming a “trusted advisor”.
  • Working closely with the Healthcare Intermediaries team to support a high volume of broker-led lending opportunities, liaising with professional advisers and managing deals through to completion alongside delivery of individual Benchmarks.
  • Providing a range of funding solutions to our clients from our Term Lending and Working Capital product range tailoring them to Client needs
  • Building relationships with Group Partner companies and through them bring the whole bank to the client delivering products to meet their needs.
  • Handling the risk and compliance of your client portfolio
  • Active engagement in Sector knowledge and developing your own capability.

  • Supporting sustainable business growth – You will take personal responsibility for delivering results, whilst readily accepting change and utilising a growth mind set to focus on client outcomes.
  • Providing outstanding knowledge of clients - Uses specialist credit and sector knowledge along with all available digital tools to deliver excellent client experiences whilst identifying ways to grow income, balance sheet and market share and handling associated risks.
  • People – Having a growth mindset and be keen to adopt and use key tools that enhance the client experience and demonstrate the value a designated Relationship Manager brings to a client’s business.
  • Environmental Awareness - Promoting the bank’s image through strong ethics & integrity across a range of clients, prospects & professionals.
