Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Systems Administrator – Windows & Cloud Security to join our global IT operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing our Windows-based infrastructure and cloud environments. You will play a critical role in ensuring system reliability, performance, and security across enterprise platforms while supporting business continuity and digital transformation initiatives.

This position is ideal for a proactive professional with strong technical expertise in Windows systems, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity best practices, who thrives in a remote and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, monitor, and maintain Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy).

  • Manage and secure cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS/GCP) including virtual machines, storage, and identity services.

  • Implement and maintain security controls such as patch management, antivirus, endpoint protection, and access policies.

  • Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for performance and availability issues.

  • Configure and manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.

  • Automate routine system tasks using PowerShell or other scripting tools.

  • Collaborate with network, security, and application teams on infrastructure projects.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders and end-users.

  • Document system configurations, procedures, and security protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022).

  • Solid experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

  • Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM), Active Directory, and Azure AD.

  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles, vulnerability management, and system hardening.

  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and ITSM processes.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and analytical mindset.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Experience

  • 3–6 years of experience as a Systems Administrator, IT Infrastructure Engineer, or similar role.

  • Proven experience managing Windows-based enterprise environments.

  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and security practices.

  • Experience working in a remote or distributed IT team is a plus.

Working Hours

  • Full-time, remote position.

  • Standard working hours aligned with business needs (flexible scheduling available).

  • Occasional on-call support may be required for critical system issues.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS architecture and server environments.

  • Ability to design, implement, and maintain secure system architectures.

  • Skilled in system performance tuning and troubleshooting.
