Job Details

Hours: 16 hours across 4 days per week.

Pay: £10.95 - £12.81 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
  • Help customers find the items they are looking for.
  • Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, always offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
  • Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into our freezers and onto our shelves ready for customers to buy.
  • Work with the rest of the team to complete the daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

Qualifications

  • A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
  • Enjoy being busy as there is always something to do, jumping between deliveries, till service, shop floor assistance, cleaning and stock rotation routines.
  • Be reliable as you will be an important part of a small team; colleagues and customers will depend on you to do your best on each shift and not let the team down.
  • Display a bit of flexibility for shifts; when team members are off on holiday, you may need to work slightly different hours. Rotas are planned three weeks in advance and outside commitments are considered when planning shifts.
  • Complete an Employment Verification check if successful and offered the advertised position.

Career Opportunities
