Retail Media Marketing Activation Specialist

About The Role Retail Media has been identified as a key enabler of profit growth across JLP and is a priority for the Partnership. We are at the start of an exciting transformation journey to evolve our capability in this space in order to help deliver more personalised experiences to delight our customers and create compelling and impactful Retail Media propositions for our branded partners. As an Activation Specialist within Waitrose Retail Media, you will support the excellent delivery of our media assets which have been agreed with brands. You will be responsible for a dedicated media channel supporting all clients, overseeing the execution of the assets within the channel from briefing stage to go live. You will also be responsible for reporting the campaign success to the Media Manager and client. You will provide activation expert support to continuously improve efficiencies within the Activations team and wider Retail Media team. Key Details Expected salary - £35,000 - £40,000 (dependent on experience). Contract type - Fixed Term (Secondment) until January 2026. Working pattern - Hybrid approach; team meets Wednesdays and Thursdays in the office, with ad-hoc meetings as needed. Location - Bracknell Head Office. Key Responsibilities Manage a dedicated media channel, overseeing the complete campaign lifecycle from briefing to activation. Report on campaign performance, providing data-driven insights to inform future strategies. Utilize strong organizational skills, apply best practices, and demonstrate a genuine interest in retail and media sales. Interpret data for insights, communicate effectively, and influence stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Google Sheets is essential. Essential Skills/Experience Experience in campaign management. Customer orientation, stakeholder management, and planning skills. Advanced experience with Google Sheets. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interpret data for insights. Desirable Skills/Experience Qualifications in marketing or business.
