About the Position As a Remote Romanian Interpreter, you will provide accurate and efficient interpretation in various settings, facilitating effective communication between English and Romanian speakers. Key Responsibilities Provide over-the-phone and video consecutive interpretation in medical, legal, and social service environments. Accurately convey messages while maintaining professional neutrality and confidentiality. Research terminology to ensure a thorough understanding of specialized fields. Demonstrate cultural sensitivity to bridge gaps between diverse backgrounds. What We’re Looking For Bilingual Excellence Native-level or near-native fluency in both Romanian and English (C1/C2 level). Professionalism Ability to handle high-pressure or sensitive situations with grace. Core Skills Outstanding listening, retention, and note-taking abilities. Experience Previous interpretation experience is preferred, but we welcome all highly skilled candidates! Technical & Professional Standards To ensure the highest quality for our clients, the following setup is required 💻 Workspace & Hardware OS Windows 10/11 or macOS 12.7+ (fully updated). Note Remote/Virtual PCs are not permitted. Specs CPU Intel 6th Gen (i5-6xxx) or AMD equivalent; 8GB RAM minimum. Internet Wired connection via Starlink, xDSL, Coaxial, or Fiber. (No LTE/4G or Wi-Fi).
