Roofing Repairs Administrator

We are currently recruiting for a Roofing Administrator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis at our Head Office in Houghton Regis.

This role is ideal for an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys working in a busy, fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in supporting our roofing operations team, ensuring works are scheduled efficiently and jobs are managed through to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling roofing operatives and arranging appointments using our in-house system (full training provided).
  • Liaising with tenants, clients, and roofing teams regarding appointments, job progress, and updates.
  • Raising job orders and ensuring all works are accurately recorded.
  • Monitoring and updating works throughout the repair process.
  • Processing job completion paperwork and invoicing.
  • Assisting supervisors and managers with administrative support.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all information is up to date on internal systems.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Previous administration experience, ideally within repairs, maintenance, or social housing.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
  • Experience scheduling operatives or coordinating repairs would be advantageous but is not essential.

Working Hours

This is a full-time, office-based position (not remote working).

Working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with a requirement to work one Saturday or Sunday per month. Any additional hours worked are paid at the standard rate in addition to salary.
