The Role

The Sales Development Team Lead will own the outbound function from end to end, taking both a leadership and hands-on individual contributor position. Roughly 30% of your time will be spent personally focused on sales activity, while the remainder is focused on managing and developing a team of four SDRs through call reviews, one-to-ones, and day-to-day coaching.

You will shape the outbound playbook and refine targeting criteria to continuously raise performance.

The Company

This is an established, growth-stage software business operating in the HR technology space, with a global customer base and the backing of experienced investors. It is a genuine opportunity to join at an early and exciting point in the company's journey, working in a fast-moving environment where your decisions will have real impact.

The role is primarily based from their London offices, with the flexibility to work remotely once per week.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate for the Sales Development Team Lead role will have some of the following:

  • At least two years managing an SDR or BDR team within a B2B SaaS business, with a wider background of direct outbound sales experience

  • A genuine appetite for active selling, particularly cold calling, which remains the primary outbound channel, this is a player-coach position, not a purely managerial one

  • Practical knowledge of modern outbound tools such as Clay, Lemlist, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and AI-assisted sequencing platforms

  • Experience working within a high-growth, VC-backed SaaS environment

Benefits

  • Base salary to £75,000, with an up to 20% performance-based bonus

  • Competitive equity share options

  • Four days per week based at a central London office in a collaborative, early-stage environment

  • The chance to build and own the outbound function in a company where your influence will be felt from day one
