Sales Manager - Germany

<p><strong>Abingdon / Home & Field Based</strong></p><p><strong>£60,000–£90,000 equivalent base + performance-related bonus + benefits</strong></p><p><br></p><p>We are partnering with an established international manufacturer looking to appoint a <strong>Sales Manager to develop its presence across Germany and selected neighbouring European markets</strong>.</p><p>This is a genuine territory-development opportunity for an experienced salesperson who knows the German market and has a track record of selling <strong>medical devices, laboratory equipment or technical capital equipment</strong>.</p><p><br></p><p>The business has an established international footprint, proven products and an existing European operation. The opportunity now is to strengthen its commercial presence within Germany and build further momentum across the region.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The role</strong></p><p>You will take ownership of a defined geographic territory, combining new business development with the growth of existing customer and partner relationships.</p><p>The position will involve:</p><ul><li>Developing new business across Germany and selected neighbouring markets</li><li>Building relationships with healthcare, laboratory, scientific and other technically led customers</li><li>Managing the full sales process from initial engagement through technical discussions, demonstrations, negotiation and close</li><li>Developing existing accounts while identifying opportunities for further growth</li><li>Building and managing a high-quality commercial pipeline</li><li>Working with channel and distribution partners where appropriate</li><li>Gathering market intelligence and identifying emerging commercial opportunities</li><li>Representing the business at relevant customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events</li><li>Working autonomously while collaborating with a wider European commercial team</li></ul><p><br></p><p>What we're looking for</p><p><strong>Fluent German is essential.</strong></p><p>We are looking for someone who already understands how to sell a technically sophisticated physical product into the German market.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>You are likely to have:</strong></p><ul><li>A successful track record in B2B sales across Germany</li><li>Experience within <strong>medical devices, laboratory/scientific equipment or technical capital equipment</strong></li><li>Experience managing consultative and potentially longer sales cycles</li><li>The credibility to engage with technical, scientific, clinical, procurement and commercial stakeholders</li><li>Strong new-business development capability</li><li>Experience managing a geographic territory with a high degree of autonomy</li><li>The willingness to travel regularly across your market</li></ul><p><br></p><p>We are deliberately open-minded on exact product background.
