SAP Consultant – SAP Cloud ERP Public Edition (Contract, Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Cloud ERP Public Edition to join a long term transformation programme. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high profile implementation supporting organisations operating within the British Channel Islands.


The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering SAP Finance and Controlling capabilities, working closely with business stakeholders to ensure the solution meets local regulatory and operational requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the implementation and configuration of SAP Cloud ERP Public Edition with a primary focus on Finance and Controlling
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, validate and translate business requirements into SAP solutions
  • Advise on finance processes, best practices and standard SAP functionality
  • Ensure the solution complies with legal, regulatory and business requirements specific to the British Channel Islands, including Jersey and Guernsey where applicable
  • Support workshops, solution design, testing, user acceptance testing and go live activities
  • Collaborate with technical teams, project managers and business users throughout the project lifecycle
  • Provide functional expertise, issue resolution and knowledge transfer to client teams


Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience delivering SAP Cloud ERP Public Edition implementation projects
  • Strong functional expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling
  • Experience working on projects involving organisations based in the British Channel Islands, including Jersey, Guernsey or other Channel Islands
  • Good understanding of local business processes and regulatory requirements within the Channel Islands
  • Experience engaging with business stakeholders and facilitating workshops
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently within a remote delivery model


Desirable Experience

  • SAP certification in SAP Cloud ERP Public Edition
  • Previous experience in public sector or regulated industries
  • Experience working within international or distributed project teams
