SAP SD Lead with SAP Carve-Out / Divestiture :: W2 :: Remote

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Lead to drive the SD workstream for a high-intensity SAP carve-out/divestiture program. The ideal candidate will have strong SAP SD and Order-to-Cash (O2C) expertise, hands-on carve-out experience, and the ability to deliver solutions within compressed project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end SAP SD workstream, including design, build, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Drive SAP carve-out/divestiture activities, including organizational structure separation and customer/data segregation.
  • Manage end-to-end O2C processes, including:
  • Sales order management
  • Pricing
  • Billing
  • Shipping
  • Delivery processing
  • Define data segregation criteria required to separate business and customer data.
  • Define migration approaches for open transactional data and historical data.
  • Collaborate with the data migration team to support migration of historical and open data.
  • Work with business stakeholders to define testing and validation strategies for SIT and UAT.
  • Support open and historical data loads and validate migration results.
  • Ensure integration between SAP SD, FI, MM, and Logistics modules.
  • Lead SIT/UAT activities, defect resolution, and issue management.
  • Drive cutover planning and execution for the carve-out.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to validate requirements and obtain sign-off.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the SD team throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Deliver solutions effectively in a high-pressure environment with compressed timelines.

Required Skills

  • 14+ years of SAP experience with strong SAP SD expertise.
  • Proven experience as an SAP SD Lead.
  • Strong SAP carve-out / divestiture / business separation project experience.
  • Deep understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
  • Strong experience with order management, pricing, billing, shipping, and logistics.
  • Experience with customer and data segregation.
  • Experience with open and historical data migration.
  • Strong SIT/UAT and testing experience.
  • Experience with cutover planning and execution.
  • Strong integration knowledge across SAP SD, FI, MM, and Logistics.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-intensity projects with aggressive timelines.
