Pay: £13.20 per hour

Contract & Hours: as below

  • 52-week role - 25 hours per week (3:00pm–8:00pm) in school holidays would need to work 7am-12pm or 1pm - 6pm
  • 52 week role - 20 hours per week (4:00pm–8:00pm) in school holidays would need to work 7am-11am or 2pm - 6pm
  • 37 week role (term time only) - 20 hours per week

Additional hours: Occasional weekend work depending on business needs

Please note: During school holiday periods, shifts for 52-week contracts may change to morning and afternoon working patterns rather than evenings.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join our friendly team at Edinburgh Academy Senior School. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the school, helping to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for everyone.

What You’ll Do

  • Clean classrooms, corridors, and shared school spaces to a high standard
  • Use cleaning equipment safely (full training provided)
  • Follow daily cleaning routines and schedules
  • Work as part of a friendly and supportive team
  • Take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment

What you’ll bring:

  • Good attention to detail
  • Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided
