We are seeking Financial Service Cybersecurity Emerging Technology Analyst to join our rapidly growing UK & Ireland Financial Services Cybersecurity Practice.

As a Financial Services Cybersecurity Analyst, you will work alongside experienced cyber security professionals to help leading banks, insurers, and financial institutions identify risks, strengthen resilience, and navigate emerging cyber threats. You'll gain exposure to cutting-edge topics including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM), quantum computing, cyber resilience, and next-generation security technologies.

Role Responsibilities:

You will:

  • Support cyber security, technology risk, and resilience assessments for financial services clients.
  • Assist in identifying cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and emerging risks across technology environments.
  • Contribute to cyber risk assessments, control reviews, and security maturity assessments.
  • Support Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) activities, including exposure identification, prioritisation, and remediation tracking.
  • Research emerging technologies and their security implications, including Artificial Intelligence, quantum computing, cloud technologies, and automation.
  • Assist in the analysis of cyber threat intelligence and industry trends to identify relevant risks and opportunities.
  • Support operational resilience and cyber resilience initiatives, including scenario testing, tabletop exercises, and resilience assessments.
  • Help develop presentations, reports, and recommendations for technical and business stakeholders.
  • Contribute to security governance, compliance, and regulatory assessments within financial services environments.
  • Support third-party and supply chain security reviews.
  • Collaborate with cyber security consultants, architects, data scientists, risk specialists, and client teams on complex transformation programmes.
  • Develop expertise in industry frameworks, regulatory requirements, and cyber security best practices.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in cyber security, technology risk, IT audit, technology consulting, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated interest in cyber security and emerging technologies.
  • Understanding of core cyber security principles, including risk management, defence-in-depth, identity and access management, and secure-by-design concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to assess information, identify patterns, and communicate findings clearly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and security concepts.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools to improve productivity, analysis, or problem solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and AI security concepts.
  • Interest in quantum computing and post-quantum cryptography.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) concepts and vulnerability management.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of cyber security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK, or CIS Controls.
  • Awareness of cyber resilience, operational resilience, business continuity, or disaster recovery principles.
  • Experience working within financial services or another highly regulated industry.

Industry certifications such as:

  • Security+
  • SC-900
  • AZ-900
  • ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC)
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner
  • Cisco CyberOps Associate
