Security & Training Auditor

Location: Heathrow Airport (with expected travel across UK & IRE stations)

We are seeking a highly motivated aviation security training professional to strengthen our security culture and uphold the highest standards of regulatory compliance across our operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring our teams are equipped with the knowledge, confidence and capability to maintain a secure operating environment. With a strong focus on delivering effective training and driving continuous improvement through rigorous audit activity, you will help safeguard our organisation and support operational excellence across the network.

Role Purpose:

To drive aviation security compliance and operational excellence by delivering effective training programmes and conducting robust audits that identify risks, ensure regulatory adherence, and support continuous improvement across all operations.

Training (Aviation Security Focus)Responsibilities:

* Lead development and delivery of aviation security training programmes

* Ensure all training aligns with UK AvSec regulations and company standards

* Deliver mandatory security training (e.g. AVSEC, access control, prohibited items)

* Maintain training records and compliance with certification requirements

* Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and operational feedback

* Support stations with refresher training and audit-driven retraining

* Collaborate with Security, Compliance, and Operational teams

Competency Framework:

* Aviation Security Knowledge (UK DfT / NASP aligned)

* Instructional Delivery & Facilitation Skills

* Learning Management Systems (LMS) & Digital Training Tools

* Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

* Compliance Awareness & Regulatory Understanding

* Training completion rates (including mandatory AvSec modules)

* Assessment pass rates and competency validation
