Selector Ambient Days - Reach Truck Selector

Job Description

As part of a fun, close-knit team, you'll 'pick' stock for specific stores and load them onto the right pallets – ready for our Drivers to collect.

 As a Warehouse Reach Truck Selector within the Aldi Distribution Centre, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our stock is and placed in slot efficiently, safely, and on time.

Your role will directly support the smooth running of the Selection picking team, working collaboratively with Goods In Selectors, Section Leaders, Deputy Management, and other warehouse teams.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Replenishing Pallets into Racking & Slots: Coordinating the placement of pallets into the racking & slots correctly and efficiently, ensuring all pallets are put into the Racking in a timely manner using our Reach Truck MHE.  

• Accuracy: Ensuring the stock is put away and slotted as accurately as possible ready for the selection teams.• Health & Safety Focus: Always working to maintain a safe working environment by following Aldi’s high standards and processes.

The successful candidate will:• Have a proactive attitude and work well in a team environment.• Be flexible with shift patterns, including mornings and weekends.• Be detail-oriented to ensure stock accuracy and compliance with accurate pallet placements. 

• Have a strong understanding of health and safety in a warehouse and/or transport environment.• Ideally have prior experience in logistics, transport, or a similar warehouse role (though this isn’t essential – we provide full training).
