Self-Employed Household Assistant – Kingston & Surbiton (Weekends Especially Wanted)

Daygent Services is a local home-help business covering Kingston upon Thames, Surbiton, New Malden, Tolworth, Berrylands, Chessington and Thames Ditton.

We're growing and need reliable, friendly people to help our regular weekly and fortnightly customers around the home.

Pay: £15 per hour, paid per job.

What you'll do: General household help such as tidying, cleaning, laundry and similar tasks, with regular customers so you get to know the homes and the people. We especially need Saturday and Sunday availability. Weekday availability is also welcome.

This is a self-employed role. You choose which jobs you accept. You're responsible for registering with HMRC, having your own UTR, and paying your own tax and National Insurance.

Requirements before your first job: Right to work in the UK. This is a legal requirement and we check it for every applicant before any work starts. British or Irish passport holders show the original in person. Everyone else provides a Home Office share code. Your own public liability insurance (£1m minimum) is preferred but not essential.
