We're looking for an experienced Senior Databricks Technical Engineer to join a growing enterprise data team where you'll play a key role in designing, building and evolving modern data platforms.

This isn't a role for someone looking to learn Databricks-you'll be the technical expert from day one, helping shape the platform while mentoring other engineers.

🚀 What you'll be doing

Building enterprise-scale data platforms from the ground up

Designing robust data pipelines using Databricks and SQL

Working with modern Lakehouse/Data Lake architectures

Delivering analytics and insight solutions that drive business decisions

Improving platform performance, scalability and data quality

Providing technical leadership within a highly skilled engineering team✅ What you'll need

Strong commercial experience with Databricks (essential)

Expert SQL skills

Experience building modern data platforms from scratch

Knowledge of Data Lakes/Lakehouse architectures

Power BI or similar reporting experience

A passion for mentoring others and leading technically

Experience with AI or advanced analytics is a real advantage🔒 Security Clearance

Applicants should already hold SC Clearance or be eligible to obtain it (5 years' continuous UK residency required).
