Your Role And Responsibilities

About the Team The Solutions Product Marketing (PMM) team at HashiCorp plays a central role in defining, positioning, and launching cross-product solutions that solve meaningful business problems for our customers. We work closely with product, sales, partner, technical field organization, and campaign teams to develop clear, compelling messaging frameworks and scalable go-to-market strategies aligned to customer needs. As part of the Portfolio and Platform Product Marketing Group, our mission is to drive solution adoption, accelerate pipeline, and help position HashiCorp as the infrastructure automation leader.

About the Role This person will partner with senior leaders across product marketing, sales, product management, and field enablement to ensure impactful and strong messaging development (Messaging and Positioning Frameworks - MPFs), working closely with individual product PMMs to align solution messaging with product-specific narratives, craft compelling solution narratives, and drive market activation across key buying centers.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer, a builder and storyteller at heart, with a deep understanding of enterprise audiences and B2B sales engagement, and an operator who thrives in a complex, fast-paced environment. Experience in a large enterprise company and comfort working across multiple product areas is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of Solutions and Technical Product Marketing Managers (PMMs) to deliver high-impact messaging frameworks, sales plays, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Guide the development of MPFs for high-priority solution areas aligned to HashiCorp\'s value pillars (risk, speed, and cost).
  • Collaborate with product marketing, revenue marketing, and campaigns teams to drive consistent messaging across content, web, events, and demand programs.
  • Partner with product and sales leaders to define and evolve solution narratives that span multiple products and align to enterprise buyer challenges.
  • Drive high-quality deliverables such as positioning briefs, pitch decks, sales enablement materials, and customer-facing content.
  • Work closely with revenue enablement to ensure solution messaging is well understood and adopted across the field.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives related to new product introductions, market expansion, and partner go-to-market motions.

Education and Experience

Preferred Education
Bachelor\'s Degree

  • Required Technical And Professional Expertise
  • 7+ years in product marketing or solutions marketing
  • Proven ability to uplevel insights and outcomes to executive leadership through reporting, dashboards, strategic communications, and confident presentation skills.
  • Proven experience developing and driving messaging frameworks and go-to-market strategies for solutions that span multiple products.
  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, and positioning skills.
  • Experience operating within or across large organizations with complex product portfolios.
  • Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
  • 12+ years in product marketing or solutions marketing - ideally in B2B enterprise software (cloud infrastructure, security, or developer tools a plus).
  • Familiarity with HashiCorp products, hybrid cloud, cloud-native technologies, and/or security and compliance solutions.
  • Experience building scalable marketing programs and messaging architectures at the platform level.
