The Learning and Organisational Development function supports a wide range of learning and development opportunities to meet identified training and development needs and strategic OD interventions to improve organisational performance and effectiveness. Our focus is on ensuring the provision of high quality learning and development opportunities and people centric interventions to enable our staff to deliver outstanding patient care and maintain safe working practices.
The postholder will provide expert advice, guidance and support, directly to key organisational stakeholders at all levels in relation to strategic interventions and solutions on all Organisational Development components eg engagement, leadership & management, team development and supporting transformational and organisational change practice.

Qualifications
Essential
- Demonstrate highly specialised knowledge to master's degree level or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience within Organisational Development (OD) practice
- Coaching qualification e.g. ILM Level 5 Coaching and Mentoring
Desirable
- oRelevant Post Graduate qualification
- oChartered Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development
Knowledge and Experience
Essential
- Evidence of continual professional and/or managerial development
- Experience of diagnosing, designing and delivering a range of Organisational Development (OD) interventions to improve organisational effectiveness
- Experience of working with Leaders & Managers at all levels on solutions to significant change processes and other Service/Continuous Improvement issues
- Experience of working collaboratively with all staff groups and Multi-disciplinary Teams across boundaries to motivate, develop and deliver shared objectives
- Experience & up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging OD Strategies, theories and models with the ability to transpose into practice
- Experience of leading and managing teams
- Experience of managing people centric change
Desirable
- Experience of significant complex Organisational Change and Service/ Continuous Improvement programmes
- OD experience within the NHS
- Experience of advising and working across the medical workforce
- Knowledge of Policies, Procedures and the Terms and Conditions Handbook
