Senior Pensions Administrator

Overview

Capita Pensions Solutions is currently looking to recruit a Senior Pensions Administrator to join our team on a 12-15 month fixed term contract. You will support and guide a team of administrators in processing monthly movements and buy-in payrolls, aligned with scheme calendars and benefit specifications. If you have pensions administration experience with knowledge of DB pension schemes and the ability to coach and mentor others, this opportunity could be for you.

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting a team in operational service delivery in accordance with business policies and procedures.
  • Understanding client requirements and ensuring key performance indicators and quality standards are met.
  • Mentoring and identifying training needs to ensure staff achieve their full potential.
  • Working towards the team’s overall goals in line with procedural and Service Level requirements.
  • Providing optimum levels of customer service to clients in terms of quality, cost and time.
  • Regularly reviewing the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and controls and suggesting improvements to enhance service delivery.
  • Adhering to Quality Management Systems and complying with regulations and policies from Capita and relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Supporting and assisting the management team in all aspects of service delivery and business support as required (e.g., ad hoc projects, auditing).

What we’re looking for:

  • Pension administration experience with knowledge and experience of DB pension schemes.
  • Experience supporting management in allocating work to the wider team.
  • Experience coaching, training and mentoring others to develop their skills and proficiency.
  • Excellent numeracy and data inputting skills.
  • Excellent accuracy, attention to detail and quality management skills.
  • Experience/understanding of pension buy-in administration (desirable).
