The Role We are seeking a Senior Programme Manager to lead AI-powered transformational initiatives across the data organization in operations and organisational enablement.

The successful candidate will establish and lead a robust programme management framework that supports the delivery of a portfolio of AI-driven initiatives, ensuring alignment between business priorities, data strategy, operational processes, and emerging AI capabilities. A core objective of the role is to align people, processes, technology, and AI innovation at the senior leadership level to accelerate delivery, improve transparency, and position the organisation for long-term success.

They will ensure large programs are governed well and that trade off decisions, prioritization, and alignment happen optimally, and establish a clear planning rhythm and roadmap that keeps the Senior Leadership team aligned and moving forward. Operational clarity is a key priority. The successful candidate will develop visibility across AI programmes, dependencies, investments, risks, and outcomes, helping leadership understand where AI is creating value and where additional focus or intervention is required.

  • Manage Complex Programs: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, cross-functional programs at a senior leadership level.
  • Consolidate all organizational work into a single, comprehensive portfolio view (ie. priorities, dependencies, ownership), that communicates progress via well-defined milestones and dependencies.
  • Validate that initiatives are aligned with organizational goals and ensure accountable leaders are supported
  • Champion AI & Automation: Identify and advocate for the inclusion of AI within data operations to automate manual processes, enhance decision making and increase overall system, process, and collaboration efficiency.
You’ll Need To Have We'd love to see:
  • Please note we use years of experience as a guide but we certainly will consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary for the role.
  • 8+ years of experience managing large-scale Program Management, strategic planning, and operational execution.
  • Proven experience managing multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and competing priorities across a complex organization
  • Demonstrated ability to shape and drive effective governance structures
  • Experience running operational meetings (prioritization, status, roadmapping) to monitor progress, identify roadblocks, and maintain operational health.
  • Skilled in building compelling data-driven presentations, operational reports, and standardized documentation.
  • Strong change management skills with the ability to influence internal teams and stakeholders, inspiring action and holding owners accountable.
  • Experience implementing or optimizing portfolio management tools (e.g., Jira Portfolio/Advanced Roadmaps, Airtable, or similar enterprise solutions).
  • Strong working knowledge of modern data platforms, pipelines, BI tools such as Tableau,Qlik or similar tools
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (e.g., Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience)
  • Technical Tooling: Experience with collaborative platforms such as MIRO and JIRA, and a passion for championing new collaborative tools (AI-assisted or otherwise) to improve team efficiency and transparency.
  • Industry Standards: Understanding of Data Governance and Data Management, supported by industry certifications such as DAMA CDMP or DCAM.
