SAP GTS Manager / Delivery Consultant - remote



About the Role



We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Manager to join a growing team. As an SAP GTS Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering SAP GTS solutions to our clients across various industries. You will be joining an integrated offering of GTS consultants, developers, and trade advisory professionals that are providing services to leading firms in different industries. You will stay abreast of the latest developments and trends in SAP GTS and related technologies

Responsibilities



  • Participate in the implementation of SAP GTS solutions at the client, specifically responsible for delivering compliance and customs solutions.
  • Tasks include project management, change management, solution design, solution implementation, and end-user support & training.
  • Lead and/or facilitate business process definition and modeling, checking the feasibility of this business model regarding SAP products and legal requirements.
  • Guide a team to implement and configure the software to replicate required business processes and analytical/reporting needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business needs and translating them into effective SAP GTS solutions.



Qualifications

  • University degree or the equivalent by experience.

Fluent in English; any other language is an asset


Required skills


  • Extensive and in-depth SAP Consultant experience, involved in at least 2 SAP GTS project implementations.
  • Eager to deep-dive into the SAP GTS Solution, specifically in the following domains: Compliance Management, Customs Management, Trade Preference.
  • Good understanding of one of the processes: Sales & logistics operations or Supply chain management in ECC6 and SAP S/4HANA.
  • Ability to drive client workshops independently and manage C-level communications.
  • Reviewing and creating design documentation, functional specifications, and other planned deliverables.
  • Providing quality assurance of the work delivered by your team.
  • Programme delivery using agile and/or waterfall implementation methodologies.
  • Operating within project governance frameworks, including planning activities, management of project risks, issues, and change requests.
  • Worked in the capacity of a team lead and managed multicultural team members.


Non-negotiables


  • Strong preference for applicants to have security clearance or eligibility to apply for same, due to potential work with Government & Public Sector clients.
  • Be a UK National who is eligible for SC.


Process


Interviews will be conducted via Teams and start dates confirmed quickly. The role is classed as remote, however there may be the odd ad-hoc requirement for Client meetings in London or Birmingham.
