Solutions Engineer | £90,000 - £100,000 base + £20,000-£30,000 bonus + strong benefits
Job Description
Job Title: Solutions Engineer – SaaS (Functional not Technical)
Location: London, hybrid (2 days per week onsite)
Salary: £90,000 - £100,000 base + £20,000–£30,000 bonus + strong benefits
This is more than a presales role. This is your chance to shape how the world’s biggest companies digitally transform and stay ahead.
We’re partnering with a global leader in the digital transformation space — a SaaS powerhouse generating over $340M ARR, with clients like Microsoft, JP Morgan, and EY. They’re not just selling a platform. They’re transforming how enterprises approach upskilling, enablement, and performance at scale. And now, they’re scaling their presales function — bringing on five high-calibre Solutions Engineers to fuel their next phase of growth.
What you’ll do
This role puts you at the heart of enterprise deals — leading discovery, architecting solutions, and delivering value-focused demos that cut through the noise.
You’ll collaborate with sales, delivery, and product teams to craft compelling solutions that win trust and close business. You’ll take ownership of the demo playbook, shape learning paths for customers, and play a visible role in influencing the roadmap.
Expect 90% functional/value-based presales, 10% technical.
What we’re looking for
- You’re credible in the room. You’ve sold or supported complex SaaS solutions, run high-stakes demos, and know how to handle a boardroom of decision-makers.
- You think commercially. You understand how to link product capability to business outcomes and how to partner with sales to win big.
- You love solving problems. Every customer’s challenge is different, and you’re wired to dig deep, get curious, and tailor the solution.
- You know the space. You’ve worked with e-learning, LMS, or enterprise SaaS platforms — or at least sold into HR, L&D, or transformation functions.
- You build, not just follow. This is a scale-up. You’ll help write the playbook, not just run it.
Why now?
This is a rare chance to join a successful business, but it is still early enough to influence how things are done. You’ll have the freedom to own your area, the backing to grow quickly, and the opportunity to leave your mark as a category leader.
