Conferences & Events | B2B Sales

An established and rapidly growing UK conference and events business is looking to strengthen its commercial team with an experienced Sponsorship Sales Executive / Manager.

The business specialises in large-scale NHS and healthcare conferences, delivering around 30 events each year and bringing together senior NHS leaders, clinicians, managers and decision-makers with organisations looking to engage directly with the health service.

With a growing conference portfolio, strong repeat sponsorship and many events regularly reaching capacity, there is a significant opportunity for someone commercially driven to help take the business to the next level.

Your Role

You’ll be responsible for identifying, developing and closing sponsorship, exhibition and partnership opportunities across a portfolio of established conferences.

Rather than being restricted to one event, you’ll work across multiple conferences and healthcare sectors, giving you access to a broad pipeline and the opportunity to build relationships with a wide range of organisations.

This is a consultative sales role. You’ll need to understand what potential partners are trying to achieve, identify the right opportunities for them and develop relationships that lead to repeat business.

Your Package

  • Basic salary 40k-50k per annum
  • Uncapped Commission
  • Bonus (team and personal targets, paid quarterly).
  • Hybrid working; 3 days per week in the office 8am-4pm
  • 20 days holidays increasing with service every year
  • Pension, health insurance, death in service.
  • Access to selected Co-op Live tickets / Manchester United corporate box
  • Genuine progression opportunities as the business continues to grow

Key Responsibilities

• Sell sponsorship, exhibition and partnership packages

• Generate new business through phone, email, LinkedIn and outbound activity

• Build and manage your own sales pipeline

• Identify and target relevant organisations across different sectors

• Develop long-term relationships with sponsors and commercial partners

• Manage multiple conferences and projects throughout the year

• Prepare proposals, negotiate and close sponsorship agreements

• Attend selected conferences and meet clients face-to-face

• Develop existing accounts and maximise repeat sponsorship opportunities

What you will bring

You may already have experience within sponsorship sales, events, exhibitions, media, B2B sales or another commercially focused environment.

We're particularly interested in people who are:

  • Confident speaking with senior business decision-makers on MS Teams meetings
  • Proactive and comfortable generating their own opportunities
  • Strong relationship builders
  • Commercially aware and target driven
  • Confident communicating by phone, email and LinkedIn
  • Motivated by both personal performance and business growth

Experience or knowledge of selling to the NHS / healthcare sector within tech sales would be advantageous but is not essential.
