Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill is located in the prestigious Marylebone area of London’s West End, overlooking the gardens of Portman Square and just moments from Oxford Street and Hyde Park. Duties and responsibilities related to the Steward – Flexi Hours role

Supports the smooth operation of all Food & Beverage areas by ensuring kitchens, service stations and back-of-house spaces remain clean, organised and fully functional throughout each shift.

Upholds strict hygiene and sanitation standards by consistently cleaning equipment, surfaces and storage areas to maintain a safe working environment for colleagues and guests.

Handles dishwashing and waste-management processes efficiently, ensuring crockery, cutlery and kitchen tools are cleaned, stored and ready for service at all times.

Monitors stock levels of cleaning materials and stewarding supplies, reporting shortages and assisting with restocking to keep operations running seamlessly.

Works closely with chefs, servers and event teams to anticipate operational needs and provide timely support during busy service periods.

Follows all safety, chemical-handling and equipment-use procedures to minimise risks and maintain compliance with hotel policies and legislation.

Contributes to a positive team culture by communicating effectively, assisting colleagues proactively and maintaining a professional, guest-focused attitude.

Adapts to changing business demands by supporting different outlets or departments when required, ensuring consistent service delivery across the hotel.

About you

You’ll be someone who takes pride in creating a clean, safe and well-organised working environment, with a proactive attitude and a willingness to support the wider Food & Beverage team. Experience in a similar stewarding or kitchen-support role is highly advantageous, and previous hotel experience is particularly valuable given the pace and standards required.

You’ll be comfortable working on your feet, handling equipment safely and following hygiene procedures with consistency. Most importantly, you bring reliability, teamwork and a positive approach to every shift, helping ensure our guests enjoy an exceptional experience across all areas of the hotel.
