Reporting to the Regional Manager, you’ll take full P&L and operational ownership of the entire store, setting the strategic direction, driving commercial growth, and creating an inspiring environment where colleagues thrive.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Driving Commercial Success: Owning full P&L performance, maximising sales, optimizing labour productivity, and driving profitability.
  • Championing Market Street: Ensuring our fresh food heritage shines through high-energy retail theatre, expert craftsmanship, and exceptional availability.
  • Leading & Developing People: Building a high-performing management team, nurturing talent, and cultivating a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
  • Delivering Operational Excellence: Maintaining flawless store standards, strict food safety, compliance, and stock integrity across all shifts.
  • Connecting with the Community: Acting as the face of Morrisons locally, engaging with customers, and adapting trade strategies to local market needs.

You’re an ambitious, commercially sharp retail leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and loves bringing the best out of people.

  • Proven Retail Leader: Extensive experience managing large-scale, high-volume retail stores with full P&L accountability.
  • Commercial Strategist: Deep understanding of retail metrics, stock management, labour models, and local trade optimization.
  • Inspirational Coach: Skilled at empowering managers, driving accountability, and building strong team morale across day and night shifts.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Passionate about fresh food, high store standards, and delivering an authentic grocer experience.
