About the job:

We’re looking for a Strategy Specialist to join our UK Mobility & Convenience (M&C) team. This is a high-impact role at the heart of the business, where you’ll help shape strategy, influence investment decisions, and drive future growth across mobility, convenience, and digital propositions.

What you’ll be doing:

In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping the UK M&C strategy and supporting leadership decision-making. You will:
  • Deliver in-depth market, customer, competitor, and financial analysis to inform strategy
  • Support the development and refresh of the UK business strategy, aligned to wider business priorities
  • Evaluate new business models, partnerships, and investment opportunities
  • Provide insight and recommendations to senior leadership on investment decisions, trade-offs, and performance
  • Lead strategic planning cycles, including scenario planning and risk assessment
  • Oversee capex performance, including allocation, tracking, and benefits realisation
  • Build dashboards and tools to track performance and key strategic critical metrics
  • Work closely with teams across finance, operations, and digital to ensure strategy is delivered effectively
  • Prepare clear, impactful updates, reports, and presentations for senior partners
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies
  • Lead and develop a small team, creating a positive, inclusive, high-performing environment

  • Relevant experience in strategy, consulting, or business analysis roles
  • Strong analytical and financial skills, including business case development and investment evaluation
  • Confidence working with data and tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or SQL
  • The ability to turn complex information into clear, actionable insights
  • Experience working with and influencing senior partners
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
