THE ROLE
The New Look studio is a dynamic and fast paced department focused on producing high quality imagery and content for the New Look Brand. It will produce e‑commerce imagery for over 30,000 products a year. Reporting into the Studio Retouching Manager, as the Studio Retoucher you will be responsible for retouching all e‑commerce assets for the New Look website.
This role is for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and has a proven ability to deliver flawless, high‑resolution image retouching – including cleanup, enhancement, product colour matching – while leveraging emerging AI technologies to improve workflow efficiency and creativity.
Please note this role is fully based in the studio 5 days a week due to the nature of the role.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
High‑Volume Retouching : Deliver consistent, high‑quality retouching aligned with New Look guidelines, ensuring accurate colour matching and true‑to‑life product representation, including complex edits such as composites and lingerie.
AI Workflow Integration : Leverage AI‑driven tools to automate repetitive or time‑intensive tasks, enhancing efficiency and reducing turnaround times.
Technical Development : Continuously develop and expand technical capabilities within Adobe Photoshop and related software to support and enhance daily production workflows.
Workflow Automation Support : Support the Retouch Manager in developing and optimising workflows through the creation and enhancement of Photoshop Actions, AI‑driven processes, and Java scripting solutions.
AI Innovation Awareness : Stay up to date with the latest AI innovations and tools, sharing knowledge and exploring opportunities to further enhance retouching quality and workflow efficiency.
Performance & Targets : Consistently meet or exceed daily production targets and SLA expectations while upholding quality standards.
Communication & Collaboration : Maintain clear communication with the Retouching Manager, proactively flagging errors, workflow challenges, or process bottlenecks to support smooth studio operations.
Quality Control & Asset Management : Maintain a keen eye for detail, ensuring retouched imagery meets QC standards while keeping within the daily correction limit, alongside accurate file naming and organization.
Workflow Management & Process Support : Prioritise daily workloads effectively while supporting departmental processes, KPIs, and continuous improvements to ensure efficient, on‑brand output.
Cross‑Functional Support : Deliver ad‑hoc retouching support for wider business needs as required.
Teamwork & Culture : Maintain a positive, proactive attitude and contribute as a strong team player in a fast‑paced studio environment.
WHO YOU ARE
Minimum 2 years’ experience in retouching across e‑commerce and creative studio environments.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, Camera Raw, Bridge, and Microsoft 365 on Mac OS.
Confident use of Wacom tablets and non‑destructive retouching workflows.
Strong understanding of colour profiles, colour matching, and colour‑correction techniques.
Experience building automation tools, including Photoshop Actions and workflow processes.
Working knowledge of AI tools such as Adobe Firefly and Midjourney (desirable).
Familiarity with asset management systems such as Lets Flo (desirable but not essential).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organised with strong multitasking and time‑management abilities; confident working to deadlines in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments.
Proactive, solution‑focused team player with a flexible, positive “can‑do” attitude.
Good understanding of end‑to‑end photo studio workflows, including photography and styling processes.
