Teaching Assistant- Prep School

The Children's House is a well-established independent school located in the United Kingdom, dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for primary-aged children. We are currently seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant, covering a variety of classes, to join our Prep School team. This role offers the opportunity to support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality education and care to young learners.

Experience Required: Minimum 3 years

Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant at The Children's House, you will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils’ learning and development. You will assist with classroom activities, provide individual or small group support, and help create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role within a primary school setting
- Strong communication skills with both children and adults
- Ability to support diverse learning needs effectively without reliance on specific curricula knowledge
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage time efficiently within the classroom context
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children
