Information About the Position

As a Team Lead Warehouse Operative at Vinted, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations and contributing to the efficiency and quality of our logistics processes. You’ll actively work alongside your team on the warehouse floor — performing the same operational tasks such as receiving, sorting, and dispatching products — while also supervising daily activities and acting as the link between your team and the Operations Manager. This role combines hands‑on execution with leadership responsibilities and is ideal for someone who enjoys being both an active team player and a coordinator in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.

In this position, you’ll

  • Contribute to achieving warehouse goals through effective measures.
  • Supervise teams and ensure tasks are completed efficiently under the guidance of the Operations Manager.
  • Take responsibility for receiving, checking, sorting, packing, shipping, and transporting customer products.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production standards, suggesting improvements to optimize Vinted Go’s logistics processes.
  • Act as the first and last point of responsibility for products before they are shipped to customers.
  • Assign tasks to employees to ensure timely completion in line with the Operations Manager’s instructions.
  • Receive, check, and sort incoming customer products, as well as dispatch delivered or transported items.
  • Lift and move products in the warehouse, including loading and unloading conveyor belts and trucks using forklifts, pallet trucks, and mail carts.
  • Maintain an organized and safe working environment, ensuring team members follow safety instructions.
  • Train employees as needed and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Complete daily checklist tasks and report any problems to the Operations Manager.

Occasional Responsibilities

  • Motivate the team and make independent decisions on solutions to problems when necessary.
  • Create reports on updates, incidents, and issues that may occur in the warehouse.

About You

  • Experience in a team supervision role in a similar warehouse environment.
  • Experienced in warehouse operations and familiar with intake, admission, and shipping processes.
  • Flexible and open‑minded with strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Attentive to detail and able to maintain high standards of safety and efficiency.
  • Comfortable using both manual and motorized warehouse equipment.
  • Physically capable of lifting, bending, kneeling, standing, and walking for extended periods.
  • Able to supervise a diverse team and solve operational problems effectively.
  • Able to identify problems and carry out all steps to solve them.
