Technical Category Manager - Printed Wiring Boards

As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the procurement process for printed wiring boards, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management. With a keen eye for detail and a strong technical background, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality printed wiring boards to support our company's mission. Develop and implement procurement strategies for the Printed Wiring Boards division in alignment with company goals and objectives. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct market research, and maintain relationships with key industry partners. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality of printed wiring boards. Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technical requirements and specifications for printed wiring boards and ensure supplier capabilities meet these requirements. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in printed wiring board technology to inform procurement decisions. Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from initial supplier identification to final delivery, while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Monitor and track supplier performance, delivery schedules, and lead times to ensure on-time and efficient delivery of printed wiring boards. Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement supply chain efficiencies. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster open communication and resolve any issues that may arise. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior management, to provide updates and recommendations on procurement activities.
