Teen Wellbeing Facilitator

The Teen Project is a non-for-profit organisation committed to transforming the well-being, confidence, and resilience of teenage girls . We equip young people with the skills, knowledge, and support they need to thrive, using a holistic approach grounded in applied psychology and positive health practices. Our work is delivered through three core models: our School Program, our Community Initiative, and our Professional Training model . Together, these pillars enable us to create lasting behavioural change, strengthen emotional resilience, and inspire healthier relationships with movement and self-worth.

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Teen Wellbeing Facilitator to join our delivery team. This hybrid role combines remote work, delivery from our Surrey office, and on-site facilitation across the South of England. You will guide teenage girls through our 6-week Confidence Course and wider initiatives , helping them build resilience, self-worth, and a positive relationship with their well-being.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about youth empowerment, thrives when working directly with young people, and feels confident delivering both in group settings and through 1-1 support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate engaging and impactful sessions from our 6-week Confidence Course in schools and community settings.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with teenage girls to create an inclusive, safe, and supportive learning atmosphere.
  • Deliver confidently in both group settings and 1-1 environments, adapting your approach to meet individual needs.
  • Develop effective connections with school staff, community partners, and local organisations to support the smooth running of programmes.
  • Assist with programme development, including creating session content, organising resources, and refining delivery methods as the organisation evolves.
  • Support data collection and impact measurement, helping track participant progress, gather feedback, and contribute to outcome reporting.
  • Prepare sessions through structured content use, thoughtful resource organisation, and proactive logistical planning.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing insights, reflections, and suggestions during team meetings, strategy discussions, and training sessions.
  • Uphold the values, professionalism, and safeguarding standards of The Teen Project in all settings.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Knowledge of youth mental well-being, body confidence, and the challenges facing teenage girls.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, both online and in-person.
  • Confidence delivering and working in school and community environments.
  • Good organisational skills to manage delivery schedules and travel.
  • A proactive, flexible, and dependable approach.
  • A driving license and access to transport is strongly preferred.
