Pay: £25 per hour

Hours: Up to 10 hours per week

Bonus: £100 - £500 per successful contract award

About Us

Restore Commercial Solutions Ltd is a growing commercial cleaning and facilities support provider delivering services across healthcare, education, offices, industrial facilities, retail, and commercial premises throughout the UK.

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Bid & Tender Writer to support the preparation of tender submissions, contract proposals, and business development opportunities.

This is a fully remote position offering complete flexibility around when you work, provided project deadlines are met.

The Role

You will work directly with the company director to prepare professional tender submissions and bid responses for commercial cleaning contracts.

The successful candidate will review tender documents, gather information, draft written responses, and ensure submissions are completed accurately and on time.

This role would suit someone with excellent written communication skills who enjoys research, analysing requirements, and producing high-quality documents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing tender specifications and contract requirements
  • Preparing written responses to tender questions
  • Completing online tender portals and submission forms
  • Researching client requirements and supporting information
  • Gathering evidence, policies, certifications, and supporting documents
  • Proofreading and quality-checking submissions before deadlines
  • Maintaining and developing a tender response library
  • Working closely with the director to understand company services and capabilities
  • Ensuring all submissions are professional, accurate, and compliant
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Excellent written English and grammar
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to analyse and interpret complex documents
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, and online systems
  • Able to work independently and manage deadlines without supervision

  • Previous bid writing or tender experience
  • Experience within commercial cleaning, facilities management, healthcare, education, or business services
  • Experience with public sector procurement processes
  • Degree or studies in English, Business, Marketing, Communications, Law, or a related subject
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT to assist with research and drafting
