The Role
You will be a freelance Turkish Language Analytical Content Reviewer working directly with OpenTrain AI to fine-tune large language models.
This is a remote contractor, part-time position focused on analyzing Turkish text, validating claims via research, answering analytical prompts, creating reasoning scenarios, and annotating model outputs.
- Data type: TEXT; label tasks include EVALUATION_RATING and TEXT_GENERATION.
- Employment: CONTRACTOR, PART_TIME.
- Worldwide applicants accepted; some overlap with US hours required (UTC-8 overlap).
What You’ll Do
Perform careful, structured analysis of Turkish-language content to create training examples and evaluations that improve LLM reasoning.
- Read and break down content into smaller logical blocks for annotation and training.
- Conduct online research to validate factual claims and provide sources where appropriate.
- Answer analytical questions and design scenarios that challenge model reasoning and logic.
- Provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations on model outputs to guide improvements.
- Collaborate remotely with other contractors and review teams, with some synchronous overlap in UTC-8 time.
Requirements
Candidates must meet the mandatory skill and availability requirements below. OpenTrain will not invent or assume additional qualifications.
- Fluency in Turkish and English (multilingual capabilities in both languages are mandatory).
- Strong analytical thinking, online research skills, and ability to provide detailed annotations and constructive feedback.
- Creative and lateral thinking to craft scenarios that probe model reasoning.
- Excellent written communication and collaboration skills; self-motivated and independent.
- Reliable desktop or laptop and a stable internet connection.
- Time commitment: advertised as 20+ hours/week; role description requests ability to commit up to 40 hours/week during the contract, with required overlap with UTC-8 (US Pacific) hours.
Helpful Background
The role is entry-level friendly but benefits from related academic or professional experience listed below.
- Bachelor’s degree or undergraduate study in Engineering, Literature, Journalism, Communications, Arts, Statistics, or related fields.
- Experience in writing, research, analysis, editing, translation, or technical communication (e.g., business analyst, research analyst, journalist, editor, translator).
- Comfort with Google Suite and basic spreadsheet work; familiarity with data interpretation and logical reasoning.
