The Project\: Looking for a recruitment role that offers genuine flexibility, full remote working and the opportunity to recruit for some of the largest construction programmes in North America.

Mace is seeking an experienced Lead Quantity Surveying & Cost Management Recruiter to support the continued growth of our Cost & Commercial teams across the United States.

This is a unique opportunity to specialise in one of the most in-demand areas of the construction industry, partnering with senior leaders to attract exceptional Quantity Surveyors, Cost Managers and Commercial professionals across major infrastructure, manufacturing, life sciences and data centre programmes.

Working hours are aligned to US Eastern Time (1pm to 9pm UK), providing flexibility for family commitments, training, personal appointments or simply enjoying your mornings.

The role can be performed 100% remotely from anywhere in the UK, with optional access to our London headquarters for those who prefer a hybrid approach.

The Opportunity:

As part of Mace's Talent Acquisition team, you will lead recruitment activity across our US Cost & Commercial business, partnering closely with hiring managers to identify, attract and secure top-tier talent.

You will own the full recruitment lifecycle whilst developing strategic talent pipelines that support both current hiring needs and future business growth.

You'll Be Responsible For

  • Leading recruitment across Quantity Surveying, Cost Management and Commercial Management disciplines throughout the United States

  • Building proactive talent pipelines for current and future hiring requirements

  • Identifying and engaging high-calibre Cost & Commercial professionals

  • Partnering with senior hiring managers to deliver best-in-class recruitment outcomes

  • Promoting internal mobility and employee referral programmes

  • Conducting structured competency and behavioural interviews

  • Managing offers, negotiations and candidate experience

  • Supporting international relocation and visa processes where required

  • Ensuring compliance and effective use of recruitment systems

  • Using market intelligence and recruitment data to drive hiring performance

  • Supporting project mobilisation and business growth through strategic talent planning

You'll Need To Have
  • Recruitment experience within Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Commercial Management or Construction Consultancy markets

  • Strong knowledge of the UK Quantity Surveying and Cost Consultancy talent landscape

  • Experience recruiting for consultancies, contractors, programme management or owner-representative organisations

  • Proven end-to-end talent acquisition experience

  • Experience recruiting into the United States market

  • Knowledge of international mobility and visa requirements

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills

  • Excellent sourcing, networking and talent-mapping capabilities
