Venue Assistant

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Venue Assistant to join our team, working across our bar, restaurant and leisure club.

This is a varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, delivering excellent customer service and being part of a busy team. Full training will be provided across our different facilities.

The job role:

  • Welcoming customers and providing excellent customer service.
  • Assisting with the day-to-day running of the bar and restaurant.
  • Serving food and drinks.
  • Supporting the operation of our leisure club following training.
  • Helping with cleaning, preparation and closing duties.
  • Working flexibly across different areas of the venue as required.

Hours & Availability

This role requires flexibility, particularly during evenings and weekends. Working hours will vary throughout the year depending on the seasonal operation of the venue, with shifts becoming predominantly evening-based during the quieter season.

The venue also has a planned seasonal closure over the winter period, reopening on 12 February.

Applicants must be flexible, reliable and available to work evenings and weekends as required by the business.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must be aged 18 or over.
  • Available for an immediate start.
  • Friendly, approachable and confident when dealing with customers.
  • Reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
  • Flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Happy to work across hospitality and leisure facilities.
  • Previous experience is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided.

We will be interviewing as the applicants come in.

Pay: From £12.90 per hour
