Production and Warehouse Operative Job Type: Full-time Location: Sudbury We are seeking a dedicated Production and Warehouse Operative to join our clients expanding team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume environment and is proficient in both production and warehousing tasks. The successful candidate will be involved in a range of activities from assembly line operations to warehouse management, ensuring efficiency and quality at all stages. Day-to-day of the role: Production: Operate on the assembly line as per the system-produced Manufacturing orders. Conduct 100% quality checks during the production process. Pick components as per the job sheet aligned with Manufacturing orders. Handle high-volume production efficiently. Warehousing: Assist the Warehouse Supervisor as needed. Pick products according to ERP system-generated picking lists. Perform quality checks on picked parts prior to dispatch. Manage bookings of parts/deliveries and restock locations using electronic scanners. Load and pick parts for daily production needs. Handle loading and unloading of deliveries. Step in for the Warehouse Supervisor in their absence. Required Skills & Qualifications: Ability to work to daily production targets in a high-volume environment. Must hold a forklift licence and have relevant experience. Desirable: Familiarity with ERP systems and stock management systems. Full training will be provided, welcoming candidates eager to learn and grow. Benefits: Competitive starting salary at National Living Wage with potential for increase based on performance and additional responsibilities. 40-hour work week (Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4pm).
