Job Description

We are currently looking for a motivated and versatile Warehouse Operative to join a busy team at Heathrow. This is an all-rounder warehouse role that involves logistics, stock control, X-ray screening, FLT operation, and import/export handling — perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow within a global logistics company.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics & Stock Management

  • Receive, inspect, and store inbound goods.

  • Pick, pack, and label items accurately for dispatch.

  • Conduct inventory checks and cycle counts.

Imports & Exports

  • Handle documentation for incoming/outgoing freight.

  • Coordinate with carriers and ensure customs compliance.

FLT Operation

  • Use forklifts to move goods safely (valid FLT license required).

GDP Compliance

  • Follow Good Distribution Practice in all storage and handling tasks.

Warehouse Support & Removals

  • Assist with general warehouse duties and removal of surplus stock.

X-ray Screening & Safety

  • Operate screening equipment to inspect goods for safety/security.

  • Log and report irregularities in shipmentsExperience in a warehouse/logistics environment is preferred.

  • Valid FLT license (Counterbalance or Reach).

  • Understanding of GDP standards and logistics processes.

  • Good attention to detail, organization, and time management.

  • Comfortable with manual handling and physical work.

  • Basic IT skills for stock systems and scanners.

  • Day Shift: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM

  • Night Shift: 1:00 PM - 1:00 AM

Salary: GBP 24000 - 36000 per year
