Warehouse Operative – Goods In & Packing Goods In & Packing

We are currently seeking motivated and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join our team in Romford area on a full-time, permanent basis.In this role, you’ll be responsible for key warehouse tasks, including receiving and checking incoming stock and accurately picking and packing orders for dispatch.Working in Goods In and Packing, you’ll help maintain quality, accuracy, and safety standards to keep our clients’ operations running smoothly.


    Requirements

  • Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred, especially in environments requiring high accuracy.
  • Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
  • Clear communication skills to follow instructions and report any issues.
  • Physical Ability: Comfortable with lifting, moving, and organising stock up to 23kg.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming stock with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Conduct stock counts and ensure that storage areas are well-organised.
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as pump trucks, and carry out daily checks.
  • Keep the workspace tidy and compliant with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Carefully pick, pack, and label items according to order specifications, ensuring accurate and timely dispatch.
  • Perform quality checks on packed items, confirming all items are correctly labelled and packed.
  • Work closely with the warehouse and management teams to meet daily targets and maintain efficient workflow.
  • Comfortable using head and glue guns for packaging and sealing products.

    Pay Rates

  • PAYE Salary: £12.71 per hour
