Location: London (NW10)

Rate: £15.00 - £17.00 per hour

Holidays – 20 Days

Contract: 12 Months 

Shift Pattern: 10pm-7am

About the Role

We're looking for a reliable and organised Warehouse Operative to support a growing 24/7 vehicle operations centre in London.

This position is ideal for someone with experience working in a warehouse, distribution centre, logistics operation, stores environment, or inventory-controlled facility. Previous automotive or vehicle parts experience is not required, however any basic knowledge of vehicles would be of benefit.

Working as part of a night-shift team, you'll be responsible for ensuring stock is accurately received, stored, tracked and distributed to support operational requirements around the clock.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process incoming deliveries
  • Accurately check, count and record stock movements
  • Pick and issue stock items for operational teams
  • Ensure inventory is correctly stored and organised
  • Perform regular stock counts and cycle counts
  • Maintain accurate records using warehouse management systems
  • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages
  • Prepare shipments and returns as required
  • Keep warehouse and storage areas organised, clean and safe
  • Support continuous improvement of warehouse processes

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics or inventory environment
  • Comfortable working permanent night shifts
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience using inventory, stock control or warehouse management systems is advantageous
  • Basic computer skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Desirable

  • Forklift licence (not essential)
  • Experience working in a 24/7 operation
  • Experience within logistics, distribution, transport, aviation, manufacturing or e-commerce environments
