Warehouse Operative / Order Picker/packer

Overview

We are seeking experienced, reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives / Order Packers to join our busy warehouse team.

This is a fast-paced and physically demanding role involving order processing, picking and packing, moving stock and pallets, handling empty containers, loading and unloading goods, and preparing customer orders for dispatch.

We are looking for candidates who can work quickly and accurately, are physically fit, and are comfortable with regular manual handling and heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

  • Pick and pack customer orders quickly and accurately
  • Process and prepare orders for dispatch
  • Move pallets, boxes and stock safely around the warehouse
  • Move, handle, stack and organise empty containers
  • Assist with loading and unloading empty containers and goods
  • Carry out regular manual handling and heavy lifting
  • Receive, sort and organise incoming stock
  • Check products, quantities and orders before dispatch
  • Keep warehouse, storage and packing areas clean and organised
  • Meet daily order processing, picking and packing targets
  • Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining accuracy
  • Follow all company health and safety procedures

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Previous warehouse, order picking and packing experience preferred
  • Experience working in a busy, fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Must be physically fit and capable of regular heavy lifting and manual handling
  • Comfortable moving pallets, stock and empty containers
  • Able to pick and pack orders quickly while maintaining accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking
  • Good teamwork and organisational skills
  • Able to follow instructions and complete tasks within required timescales
