Warehouse Operative (Part-Time)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking & Packing: Accurately pick and pack online and wholesale customer orders, ensuring all items are dispatched correctly and efficiently during busy periods.
  • Stock Replenishment: Retrieving stock from racking and replenish picking bays.
  • Goods In: Helping unload deliveries and store away deliveries of stock.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean and organised, ensuring all working areas are safe and operational.
  • General Warehouse Duties: Assist in unloading deliveries, managing stock levels, and other warehouse-related tasks as needed.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in warehouse manual picking and packing is essential
  • The job is physically demanding, and containers will need to be unloaded, so physical stamina is a must.
  • Ability to work efficiently during peak times and maintain productivity during quieter periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team
  • A valid forklift truck license and experience is preferential but not essential.

Hours: 8.00 to 1.00pm, Mon - Thurs (20hrs)
